CH-4 unmanned aerial vehicle (CH-4 unmanned aerial vehicle, abbreviated: CH-4 UAV) is a medium-range reconnaissance/reconnaissance (civilian version) integrated UAV developed on the basis of CH-3 unmanned aerial vehicle.
The development of the CH-4 UAV began in 2010, and its maiden flight was completed in September 2011. In November 2012, the CH-4 UAV system was exhibited for the first time at the 9th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition. In May 2016, the CH-4 UAV completed the Weitong target test, and had the ability to reconnaissance and strike together, effectively improving the combat effectiveness of the CH-4 UAV weapon system. The drone has been exported to Algeria, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Iraq and Qatar.
In April 2019, the CH-4 UAV successfully completed the aeronautical geophysical exploration test flight in a place in the northwest.
