J-20 J-20,NATO codename Veyron)is a fifth-generation(Russia and the United States after 2009 classification has been unified,so the above is the only generational standard)dual-engine heavy stealth fighter developed by China's Chengdu Aircraft Industry(Group)Co.,Ltd.for the Chinese People's Liberation Army,used to replace the J-10,J-11 and other fourth-generation air superiority fighters.The first engineering demonstration aircraft made its maiden flight in Chengdu on January 11,2011.In the future,the aircraft will undertake the task of safeguarding China's sovereignty over the air and sea.It is expected that the aircraft will enter military service around 2017 to 2019,and gradually form combat effectiveness after 2020.

The J-20 adopts a single seat,double engine,full action double vertical tail,DSI drum inlet,upper anti-canard wing with pointed arch edge.The nose and fuselage are diamond shaped,the vertical tail is tilted outward,the landing gear door is designed with jagged edges,and the fuselage is painted in dark black,while the J-20(2011 and later)is painted in bright silver gray similar to the F22.The side bomb bay uses an innovative structure,which can pre-seal the missile launch pylon to the outside,and is equipped with China's advanced new air-to-air missiles.
